MIAMI IS GETTING READY FOR ART BASEL
From December 07 – December 10, 2017 one of the world largest contemporary art fair will be held once a year in Miami Beach. Since launching in 2002 Art Basel Miami Beach has become North Americas No1 premier art fair with amazing contemporary paintings, films, videos, Photagraphy, sculptures, digital art, drawings from more than 4000 artists and showcased by some 268 top international art galleries.
Over 5 days the show will attract more than 80,000 visitors from around the globe including private collectors and directors, curators, trustees and patrons of nearly 250 museums and institution groups..
Art Basel is the No 1 international contemporary modern art fair with 3 shows staged annually in Basel / Switzerland, Miami Beach / Florida and Hong Kong. Art Basel started in 1970 in Basel / Switzerland. Since 2002 in Miami and since 2015 in Hong Kong.
Art Basel will not only take place at the Convention Center, there is a growing number of satellite fairs spreading like a wildfire across the entire city from South Beach to Wynwood. Every year there is more and MB is running out of space. Just to mention a few and also my favorites, SCOPE Miami Beach, Art Miami, Untitled Miami Beach, Pulse Miami Beach, Red Dot and Spectrum.
